The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has a Maintenance Execution Area Manager position available in Deepwater, NJ.  This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Operations function. This position will report to the Unit Manager. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: Set expectations and hold employees accountable for the Chemours values (Customer-Centered, Refreshing Simplicity, Collective Entrepreneurship, Safety Obsession & Unshakable Integrity) and model the appropriate behavior Responsible for over 40 mechanics / E&I technicians and 4 supervisors Responsible for managing multi-million dollar plant fixed cost maintenance budget based on 2018 (Chemours and contract) Responsible for all Environmental, Safety, and Health aspects of the maintenance team Drive continuous improvement toward increased efficiency, consistency, and work quality Manage human resources consistent with policies in a union environment Develop individuals for future assignments Lead the organization by setting high standards and operational discipline while creating a safe and respectful work environment In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following: 8-10 years of plant maintenance and/or reliability work experience OR 3-5 years of plant maintenanceexperience with BS degree in Engineering. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to work with a diverse population of employees and contractors Process Safety Management in High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operations Demonstrated understanding of safety procedures and corporate safety philosophy Demonstrated capability to drive for results The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit: Previous line supervisionexperience in Maintenance or Operations Familiarity with the Work Management Process (WMP) Experience driving Lean manufacturing principles Six Sigma certification Familiarity with the SAP/R3. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
