The Chemours Company headquartered in Wilmington, DE has a Work Management Process Champion position available in Deepwater, NJ. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Operations function. This position will report to the Site Manufacturing Services Unit Manager.
Role Description:
Develops and leads overall Site Maintenance WMP (Work Management Process) improvement program. Possess leadership skills for driving M&R improvements. Provides technical expertise on all matters related to Maintenance WMP. Assess and monitors all WMP related activity to ensure Corporate standards are clearly understood and met. Works with Area Operations and Maintenance Management to advance best practices for asset productivity and WMP compliance. This position focuses on improving equipment performance, versus sustaining or returning it to current performance standards through the successful use of currently recognized WMP best practices.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Demonstrate a passion for and knowledge of M&R best practices.
Act as Site Leader of Maintenance WMP Implementation.
Develop and champion improvements related to WMP at the Site.
Translate WMP processes into tangible equipment reliability and Fixed Cost improvements.
Establish and lead WMP Improvement Managing Process to track program execution and performance versus KPIs.
Assess gaps in current processes to identify improvements and charter teams to address and close.
Identify and coordinate training for key Work Management Roles, including: Maintenance Coordinators, Planners, and First Line Supervisors.
Assist Central Maintenance and Operating Areas in implementing WMP improvements.
Analyze performance trends, historical data, and field data to recommend and justify improvement strategies.
Assist the areas in a thorough understanding of WMP principles.
Track and interpret maintenance metrics for Site Leadership, recommending needed improvements where warranted.
Continually promote consistency by standardizing processes and procedures between Areas.
Participate as a member of turn-around/shutdown teams.
Participate in M&R networks and share best practices, successes and failures.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
Minimum of 8 years of plant maintenance and/or reliability work experience; Or 3-5 years of plant maintenance experience with BS degree in Engineering
Strong leadership capability
Ability to develop a vision and convert into strategies
Ability to plan, prioritize and implement multiple concurrent projects
Thorough understanding of SAP-PM
Good communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence managers, peers, and mechanics; able to take a "hands-on" approach with operators and mechanics to get things done
Good Analytical and Problem-solving skills
Proven strong contributor with the capability to work independently
Good personal computer and software skills e.g. Microsoft Office
Basic understanding of the principles of:
Maintenance & Reliability best practices
Predictive techniques for fixed and rotating equipment and instrumentation such as: Vibration Analysis, Tribology, Non-Destructive Testing, Thermography, etc.
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
Total Equipment Effectiveness (Uptime)
Equipment Life Cycle Cost
ISO and other related quality standards
Cost/Capital analysis and justification
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
Training and project experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean
Understands the Process Safety Management (PSM) process

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
