Automation & Process Control Engineer
The Chemours Chamber Works facility located in Deepwater, NJ has an Automation & Process Control Engineer position available. This is a highly visible, key role within the Company and the Manufacturing Technology function. This position will report to the Manufacturing Technology Manager.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide technical expertise for the control and instrument systems supporting the operating units while ensuring compliance with RAGAGEP's and regulatory requirements (OSHA, PSM, Environmental, etc.) and Chemours standards. Provide technical support to the operations team as required, on E/I and control systems issues. Note ? this may involve night and weekend support. Lead and/or participate on teams to deliver capital project solutions, from development of basic data through installation and start-up. This includes the design, configuration, and commissioning of new control systems - including I/O, controllers, programs, logic, graphics and IT infrastructure. Develop & implement new control strategies to meet the needs of the business and operations teams. Mentor and assist in training of technical colleagues, and maintenance/operations personnel to improve the organizations skills, knowledge, and ability in the A&PC function. Potentially, this could include providing leadership to less experienced professionals. Develop predictive and preventive maintenance procedures to insure improved equipment reliability. Lead and/or participate in investigations and follow-up for electrical, instrument, and control system equipment failures, determining root cause and identifying actions to prevent recurrence. Evaluate the existing instrumentation to improve accuracy, reliability, and calibration documentation. Recommend, source, and ensure proper installation of new instruments and control system upgrades in a manner that will provide accurate, reliable process control. Provide support for Alarm Management, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Cyber Security efforts, and participate in core PSM activities such as Process Hazards Analysis and LOPAs. Maintain and repair site process control systems (e.g. DCS, PLC) and peripherals in order to support production demand for multiple 24/7 chemical processes.
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects
Good interpersonal and communication skills. Must work well in both self-managed and team environment.
Ability to read and understand control system related documentation such as: P&I drawing, Logic drawing, Electrical drawing, Vendor's Installation/User manual, etc.
Basic IT and Networking skills
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:
5-10 years of relevant work experience (full-time or co-op); including maintenance/troubleshooting/configuration/support with Industrial electrical system/instrumentation and experience with digital control systems such as DCS and PLC
Experience with Honeywell DCS systems (TDC 3000, Experion)
Experience with Rockwell PLC system and associated network architectures (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SLC500, PanelView)
Basic understand of Chemical Process operation
Working knowledge with Information system Networking

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
