Business Development Administrator

The Business Development Admin.
Is responsible for maintaining fluid communication with sales team members to assist and support daily sales activity.
As someone who is a major supporter of the sales team, the business development admin.
Is responsible for sales reporting and analysis, as well as assisting the sales team with individual sales reports.
This position is also responsible for completing CRM and sales platform tasks daily.
Although this is mostly a remote position, candidate must be within driving distance of our New Castle, Delaware facility.
Onsite meetings are held monthly and coordination of marketing materials for clients is required.
Job Objectives Assist with sales staff recruitment and training.
Assist with Marketing efforts as it relates to sales.
Provide support to Sales Management for data analysis and administrative functions.
Work with Business Development Staff to assist in prioritizing workload.
Follow up with Business Development Staff weekly regarding expiring quotes.
Master CRM platform:
Quote creation Opportunity creation Client profile creation Reports and Searches File upload Personalization Settings Master inbound request platforms Science Exchange Scientist.
com Record inbound requests using Scientist.
com tracking sheet.
HubSpot Use Ideal Prospect Profile to vet inbounds (using ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, etc.
), before passing along to Business Development Staff Quoting process for inbound platforms Follow up with stale requests (Client or BDM) Assist with various projects from Marketing, Biz.
Ops.
, Client Services, etc.
Plan employee team building events and other company events.
Assist Client Services in Satisfaction Check procedures.
Put together and send out via post office New Client Gifts.
Follow up with client services weekly regarding expiring quotes.
Maintain document control for Sales contracts and other related documents.
Update existing work instructions or SOPs Publish new work instructions or SOPs Review Documents that are expiring Stay up to date on product and service offerings Coordinate Sales Team Meetings Job Competencies o Fluent in English o Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills o Effectively manage a high volume of email without compromising key responsibilities o Mathematical and Analytical Skills o Basic proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint (Advanced proficiency preferred) o Organizational Skills o Basic Scientific Knowledge o Ability to represent ABS in a professional manner to clients/vendors o Ability to understand products and services offered to an intermediate level.
Education & ExperienceEducation:
A BS/BA or higher degree in Business or Biological Sciences.
Experience - Employee must have experience with CRMs, basic laboratory terminology, and communication skills.
Working Conditions Physical Requirements o Employee will be required to sit at their desk for long periods.
o Employee will be required to use a computer screen for long periods.
o Employee will work at a desk within our facility office space or from home office.
o Ability to maintain an appropriate work environment in home office.
o Occasional Travel to ABS HQ required.
o The ABS Headquarters consists of labs and office space.
You will be required to visit ABS Headquarters for various meetings or events.
There will be times when the employee may need to access laboratory areas and proper PPE must be worn as posted.
